We are pleased to announce the signing of Ireland international Brad Hargreaves.

Brad burst onto the scene in late 2014 when he scored a hat-trick for Ireland against Wales in the 2014 European Championships. He enjoyed a fine 2015 season with Rochdale Hornets, scoring against the All Golds in a Rochdale win in Cheltenham, but left to set up his own business. With his company doing well he admitted he’s desperate to get back playing. He said: “I enjoyed my time with Rochdale and giving up playing wasn’t easy. I’ve had a busy time of it since and now I can’t wait to get back on the pitch. The All Golds have had some fantastic results this season and I’m looking forward to getting involved.

“I’ll play anywhere I’m asked but I’ve spent most of my time in the second row. I’ve been working hard on my fitness and it’s been great to be back training. We’ve got some big games coming up and I hope to be involved.”

All Golds head coach Lee Greenwood said he was thrilled to complete the transfer of Hargreaves. He said: “Brad was on his way to making a real name for himself a couple of seasons ago after scoring a hat-trick for Ireland against Wales then signing for Rochdale. He left to set up his own business and now wants to get back playing professionally. He will cover centre and second row for us and once he gets match fit will prove to be a great addition to our squad.”
