We are pleased to announce the signing of Ross Price who joins us from South Wales Ironmen.

A former Valley Cougars player Ross made his debut for the Ironmen in May with his good form catching the eye of Lee Greenwood who moved quickly to secure his signature. After completing the transfer the All Golds head coach said: “Ross has all the raw ingredients needed for rugby league. He is tough, enthusiastic and aggressive which can take you a long way in this game.

“He will get a chance to play with us this season and if he impresses enough then we can look at him staying on next season.”

A powerful prop Ross’ size and power will be needed as we push for a place in the Shield final. Speaking after signing his contract he said his main aim will be to play as much as possible in the remaining games this season. “My main aim is to play as often as I can and to the best of my ability. I suffered an injury earlier this season which meant I missed a lot of games but I’m fit now and am looking forward to getting back on the pitch.

“I want to push myself and signing for the All Golds gives me a good opportunity to play with good players. Competition for places is a good thing and I’m looking forward to working hard to try and earn myself some game time.”
